How Salt Lake Furnace Repair works

Free for homeowners · A real person reads every request · One local company gets it · Referral service, not a contractor

Who we are. Salt Lake Furnace Repair is a free referral service for homeowners in Salt Lake County. We are not a heating contractor. We don’t employ technicians, and we don’t do repairs or installs.

How referrals work. You send a request, a person reviews it, and we pass it to one local heating company that serves your area. Each request goes to that one company only. That company contacts you, gives its own quote, and does the work only if you hire it. You pay the contractor directly.

How we make money. Heating companies may pay us for referrals or advertising. That never changes what you pay them.

What we don’t promise. We don’t license, employ, or guarantee contractors, and a referral isn’t an endorsement. Check any contractor’s license on the Utah Division of Professional Licensing lookup and ask for proof of insurance before work starts.

Prices on this site are published figures from named sources (Angi, HomeGuide, Enbridge Gas ThermWise, the IRS), linked at the bottom of each page. They’re planning ranges, not quotes.

Safety. If you smell gas, leave the house first, then call Enbridge Gas at 1-800-767-1689 or 911 from outside. The number is from Enbridge Gas’s safety page.

Sister sites. Our longer furnace cost and troubleshooting guides live at Furnace Buyers Guide. Utah County homeowners use Utah County Furnace Repair, and water heater requests go to Salt Lake Water Heater (same owner; we say so plainly).
